Refunds

The Rupee Fund is a FOSS United community initiative, run by volunteers. We adopt the donation-refund principles in the FOSS United refund and transfer policy, as reviewed on 7 September 2026: submit claims promptly, provide transaction details, and expect each donation made in error to be reviewed on its own. The local rules below apply to this fund and take precedence where the source differs. Ticket-transfer rules do not apply. Later changes to the source do not change this policy automatically.

Before the fund opens

This site takes no payments at this stage. Joining the mailing list does not charge you or create a payment obligation. Contributions will go into a FOSS United Foundation account. We will publish the refund contact, claim period, and recurring-payment cancellation process before contributions open.

Donations to the Foundation’s own programmes

If you donated directly to FOSS United Foundation, its policy asks you to email audit@fossunited.org within 15 days. That process concerns direct donations to the Foundation. Refunds of contributions to The Rupee Fund follow the rules that we publish before contributions open.
