Refunds

Effective date: 7 September 2026.

The Rupee Fund is a FOSS United community initiative run by community members. We adopt the donation-refund principles in the FOSS United refund and transfer policy, as reviewed on 7 September 2026: submit claims promptly, provide transaction details, and review donations made in error on an individual basis. The local rules below apply to this fund and take precedence where the source differs. Ticket-transfer rules do not apply. Later changes to the source do not change this policy automatically.

Before launch

This site takes no payments at this stage. Joining the launch notification list does not charge you or create a payment obligation. We will publish the payment recipient, refund contact, claim period, and recurring-payment cancellation process before contributions open.

Donations made to the Foundation

If you donated directly to FOSS United Foundation, its policy asks you to email audit@fossunited.org within 15 days. That process concerns donations to the Foundation. It does not identify the Foundation as the recipient or refund decision-maker for future Rupee Fund contributions.
