Code of conduct

The Rupee Fund is a FOSS United community initiative, run by volunteers. We adopt the conduct and anti-harassment standards of the FOSS United Code of Conduct, as reviewed on 7 September 2026, with the local rules below. Later changes to that source do not change this policy automatically. Where the source differs from the local rules, the local rules apply to the spaces of The Rupee Fund.

Scope and conduct

These standards apply to contributors, applicants, volunteers, and organisers in the spaces of The Rupee Fund and fund-related communications. Treat people with respect. Harassment, threats, discrimination, and disclosure of another person’s private information are not permitted.

Responsibility

The community team is responsible for conduct in the spaces of The Rupee Fund. The Foundation contacts and event enforcement roles in the source policy are not assigned responsibilities in The Rupee Fund by this adoption. Foundation spaces remain subject to their own reporting procedures.

The adopted standards come from FOSS United. Its source credits the Major League Hacking policies under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. This local adaptation uses the same licence.
